Re: Shodan Imports Set

I would advise the original poster to avoid wasting money on a lesser quality set. A high quality set will greatly enhance your enjoyment of the game. If you love Go you'll never regret it, even for a single instant.

+1 for size 31 shell and slate. Total perfection.

I haven't found care to be an issue as long as you ensure that your hands are clean before handling them.

Re: Board from Shodan Imports

I bought a Shin Kaya board from Shodan and it is a real work of art. Having visited a number of high-end Go retailers in Japan recently I can say with some certainty that the quality is second to none.

Re: Kiseido books - US-based supplier?

Thank you for these responses. I will write to Kiseido and ask if it might be possible for them to ship this item from the US.

I ordered the hardback copy of Invincible from Mr. Bozulich and he shipped it from Japan.

Is this the Kiseido representative? If not I'd be grateful if you could share ...

Kiseido books - US-based supplier?

Interested to know if anybody can recommend a US-based supplier of Kiseido books? I would much prefer not to order internationally.

I'm interested in finding a hardback copy of 'Invincible'.

Kiseido publications are also pretty boring-looking, but beautifully printed and bound.

'The Treasure Chest Enigma' has a great cover: http://www.gobooks.info/h2.html

Re: Many Faces of Go resigns too willingly

Thank you for the suggestions. I'm relatively new to the game - I would certainly find it useful to play games to their conclusion.

Look on the menu. Under 'Computer' there is a 'Computer Can Resign' option. Uncheck it.
