As some others have said, clearing the browser cache fixed the issue for me right away. It would probably be a good idea to put this suggestion on the video player page.

Re: GoGameGuru BadukTv Competition
Odd that no one is reporting problems. On Windows 7, nothing works. IE9 (32 and 64) both say the video format is not supported. Firefox and Chrome (latest versions) both just have an endless hourglass icon.

Re: September Tournament: 19x19 DDK
I'd like to stick to the format as originally described, if you don't mind - in other words minimal organisation and no limit on the number of games.
Don't let me stop you organising an alternative Swiss tourney, though - I think that's a great idea and would play in it.

Re: September Tournament: 19x19 DDK
It's very similar to the ASR League, The free-form nature of it encourages you to play as many games as possible, and playing even games against stronger players helps you get stronger.

September Tournament: 19x19 DDK
Inspired by the excellent 9x9 tourney organised by SinK and ably assisted by many regulars, I'd like to propose a 19x19 tournament for 10 kyu players and below (or those who think their true strength lies in this range, regardless of current rank). Absolute beginners are entirely welcome.

Re: The First Forum Double Digit Kyu Tourney
Thoughts about the tournament:
I've really enjoyed playing in it as it makes the games more exciting knowing that they will count for something (and that people will be scrutinising them!). I've even had a few dan players pop in to watch some of my games, which I can't say has happened before

Using a computer to record a tournament game
Are you allowed to record a tournament game on a computer or phone? I would tend to use SmartGo Pro on the iPhone to record a game I was playing over the board, but I can see where this wouldn't be allowed.

Re: The First Forum Double Digit Kyu Tourney
I would definitely be up for a 19x19 or 13x13 tournament as well. I've found the 9x9 games really valuable so far though. It allows me to think about shape without getting caught up in the larger board situation.

Re: The First Forum Double Digit Kyu Tourney
Actually, I find it can have both effects. The goal is not to play for the smallest loss, it's to play for the biggest win If you are losing, winning is still far more valuable than the tiebreak anyway, and if you are winning, it can encourage even more sharp / aggressive play.

Re: The First Forum Double Digit Kyu Tourney
If we can make changes for next month's tourney, I'd vote for using tie-break matches instead of score ratio. Playing for the smallest loss strongly discourages speculative invasions and puts a dampener on fighting spirit in general. If you're behind, it's important to learn how to invade and reduce ...
