The second sentence above is from the 45th Game's commentary. But in older edition of the book I found extra sentence.

十二月十五日赐予井上道砂因硕和本因坊迹目道的十人扶持的待遇。

Rather strange when trying to translate :) "December 15 granted the treatment of support to the ten men of Inoue Dosa Inseki and Honinbo Doteki"
