Re: European Go Cultural Centre is closing its doors
Hi - National Go Center (NGC) here.
Sorry to hear about the EGCC closing. I had hoped to visit someday.
We have been open for two years now. Although a struggle to get folks away from their screens and come play face-to-face, it is very rewarding. The DC area Go scene has a fairly long history so ...

Re: recently played at national go center
Yes, the National refers to being in DC although we are fans of the Nationals too.
We just recently put up a new website at https://nationalgocenter.org where you can find out more about the NGC.
Happy to answer any questions.

Re: AGAGD comes to everyone
Oh I see the tournament crosstabs, nice. I see how you can go from tournament to player, but don't see a way to jump back from player to tournament which would be nice too.

Re: AGAGD comes to everyone
Wow this is great progress! Love the historical rank graph.
One thing the previous version had was tournament cross-tabs. Is that coming back? It was nice to be able to browse tournament results and then click on individual players.
Keep up the great work!

This is coming along nicely, Bill. Just downloaded source and compiled on a Win 8 Lenovo Twist. Can't wait to see it in the app store!

Re: AGAGD comes to everyone
Great to hear progress is being made - AGAGD was an incredibly useful addition to the ratings database. My understanding was that it was taken down after a security audit of some kind due to security holes. If that is correct, then I'd say the top priority should be simply to fix those and get it ...

I'll be visiting on biz in a couple weeks. Is there a contact I could call or email to see if the Tuesday night group is getting together when I am in town?

The AGA rating system is documented on the usgo.org website and is open source. You might want to look at that.

Re: SmartGo on Microsoft Surface or alternative
It won't run on RT. Anders would be the one to answer whether he has any RT plans. Bill Chiles and I have both been working on an SGF editor that will run on RT. I have pretty limited time to work on it so not sure when it will see light of day, but intention is to put it in the app store as a free ...

Re: Upcoming Elections - Feng Yun appears in the line up
On the topic of board meeting and AGM, I'm less interested in the retrospective griping as I am about forward-looking items. Can we get a general summary of discussions about future plans, priorities and programs?
