That's really great news, thank you so much apestrec for this rebirth of my beloved L19!
I know I have not contributed that much, mostly because I am not an english-fluent speaker, and also I do not always have anything clever to say, but I was very saddened not to be able to read the interseting ...

Re: AI theory poser
Two questions arise. The first is: why did the pincers die out? The second is, of course, why are they being played again?
You want us to try by ourselves. So... Just a wild guess, to give some food to the discussion, although I am pretty sure I am missing some big picture AND many subtle nuances ...

Hi Aaron,
I see that you have some correspondance games going on. If you want to play a teaching one, feel free to ask.

Good catch !
Thank you kvasir,I would never have thought to look for this game here in the NetSocialPlaza. It is good to know the IGS moderation is still reactive ; and very pleasant to re-descover a game that I thought lost for good.

a new twice-as-big edition of Go Consultants.
That's really good news ! I was looking for this book without success.
Despite that it is on my to-do list. Honestly.
That is good to know. Thanks for your answer. I hope I'll be able to buy it soon.

Re: Mainstream Go Sightings
It's hardly fresh news, but I just noticed that go makes an appearance in a little 1983 French movie called Le Faucon (the hawk).
Technically speaking, Le Faucon belongs to a specific movie category knwon in French as "nanar", a word without English equivalent, and translated as "[a] film that's so ...

Re: A game desappeared?
After greeting your opponent at the beginning of the game, you should play the first move within a minute. The system is set up so that you can’t play your first move if you haven’t sent a greeting . Also, if more than a minute elapses without your sending a greeting or if you are cut off, the game ...

Re: Pandanet — How to review a game that just ended?
There are many clients for Pandanet but you are supposed to be able to do what you described in GoPanda2. First you go to the home screen, then press the "Start Review" button, then select "Last Game" under "type", then press "OK" and voila!
Oooh, I never noticed this "Last game" option! Thanks ...

Pandanet — How to review a game that just ended?
A new question about the GoPanda client.
Last time, just after a game ended, I was offered to enter a review controlled by my opponent. That was a very cool feature, that reminded me of KGS. However I do not find the option to do that myself. Can anywone help here ?
Just to be clear : I know how ...

Re: A game desappeared?
Thank you for this (quick!) reply.
If the game was reported then another possibility is that the game was automatically hidden until the office has had time to investigate.
I will assume that's the case, and let some time to see if a moderator adjucate the game in one way or another. If nothing ...

A game disappeared? [solved]
Hello,
Yesterday I played a game on IGS but both my opponent and I have overlooked an open boundary (just worth 1 point) and we were lost in the scoring phase, unable to score it properly or to go back to the game. We tried various things and reseted the coring phase multiple times. I was about to ...

Thank you for your answer.
I will take patience then, and meanwhile keep on going through pro games the old way -- I've just finished to replay Shuei's games, from your book, by writing them first on a game record, and only then replaying them on a board. Guess I have to do the same with the next ...

Re: GoGoD Summer 2022 edition now available
Hello,
Is a kind of "Christmas version" still in plans?
As Tundra was, I am thinking of buying a copy of the database, but willing to wait a bit if a new update is on the pipe.
