Did I get that right, that it would be possible to host the extension's code on an own web server and run it from there? Would be interesting for using it with an Android tablet, where the browser doesn't support extensions.

If you're in Yurakuchou, there's also Izumi Igo(http://www.izumiigo.jp/). More recently there is apparently a 24 hour place in Kabukichou, but I'm unsure of the address or name at the moment.

At least you could ask me before publishing this. I would not want users to see the unfinished version, and i wanted to publish the very first version by my own. But what's done is done. By the way you have to to open all of your code under the license agreement.

What is the longer term plan for users to use the client without having to build stuff? Does it require wms to bless it and run something on the gokgs server? Or for a 3rd party to be running the json convert server thingy?

If I remember correctly, the reason for the 5 dan dependency is due to how 6 dan is obtained. I think for 6 dan it was 1st place in a regional tournament and 7 dan is from a national tournament.
