I've looked in the various threads about AlphaGo Zero and failed to find mention of the article linked below. It begins with some famous Go history then goes on to quote some thoughts from Michael Redmond and others.

The link to Matti Siivola's proposals in the OP does not work. I looked at Matti Siivola's page , and could not find a link to the proposals there...

Though I've played at a European Go Congress, I'm not European and won't vote in this poll, but it seems a shame that the proposals in Matti Siivola ...

Three recommendations for science fiction. (I agree with plenty of earlier recommendations, but two are new, and one is for a particular series by a previously mentioned author. I rarely read fantasy, and usually find it very disappointing.)

1) Strongly recommend: The Mars Trilogy by Kim Stanley ...

Thanks! I've watched the Honinbo on IGS in the past. It seems that these title matches are about the only time one sees much comment on IGS. Of course, since the games are broadcast live, there is plenty of time to talk and analyze between moves. I'm looking forward to reading your twitter ...
