I keep getting this error: "The application was unable to start correctly (0x0000005).Click OK to close application"

Is the server down or is it just the client? For reference I'm using the glGO client.

Edit: I tried reinstalling the client, but the problem persists.

The IGS system now uses ranks like {3d?, 3d, 3d+} rather than 3d*. If you see your rank as 3d*, you probably need to update your client program. Promotion to 3d (4d) occurs at rating 33800 (37300). This range (3500 points) corresponds to roughly 35 wins. Your rank would go from 3d to 3d+ roughly ...

Hm, but the only numbers I see in my user info are 3d* 31. :S

The 3 game rule seems just right, anything more than that is a bit much...

Here is a question kind of along the same lines...

Once you sign up for one month, are you automatically signed up for the continuing months until you drop? Or do you have to sign-up for every month?

After you sign-up for the initial month, you'll only be dropped if you don't meet the minimum ...

I joined the ASR League, because many people I knew on KGS had joined. ^_^ I've gained about 2-3 stones since when I joined, back in October 2009.

The same thing happened to me yesterday and today, I had to do pretty much the same thing you did.
