Post subject:  What are the most viewed threads?
I was reading Kirby's adventures at the go congress when I noticed that his study journal has a rather amazing 187,462 views. That made me wonder what are the most viewed threads here at L19?

I couldn't find a way to sort threads by views so I will appeal to those more knowledgeable or those with access to the database. Can anyone produce a top-ten list of most viewed threads? We can skip the stickied instructions on how to use L19. :)

Those are mostly bot and spider views if L19 is set up like most other wide open forums. If you watch that number, it will probably grow by hundreds in a single day.

Clearly that is not the case at L19. It is trivial to click on any forum and go to the oldest page ~2010. You will see that the threads there have not accumulated a lot of views during the last 9 years. So I think that it is reasonable to believe that the threads with really high counts are those that people have found most interesting. Needless to say, I could still be wrong for a different reason! :blackeye:

In the end this turned out to be idiotically simple (i.e. real easy but too challenging for this idiot :blackeye: )! At the bottom of the screen when we list the topics in a forum we are given the choice to "sort by:" visits (among other things). So I can choose visits, hit 'Go' and see the answer to my query myself. So much for that! :)
