It's double dactyl time at the open mic night.

Higgledy-piggledy,
Matthew Macfadyen, now
visibly frustrated,
said—and I quote—

"Play that results in your
losing initiative
orthophonetically
is not a goat."

As I laid my stone down I could see
That the game was all over for me.
And as you could guess,
I felt quite depressed.
For I'd have one the game without komi.

Not poetry, but a song. It goes along a certain tune, I'm sure some readers will know:
---
I wanna be the very best
Like no one ever was
To solve them is my real test
Getting better is my cause

I will solve them all as planned
Practice day and night
Baduk players will understand
The power in my fight

Tsumégo!
Gotta solve 'em all
Improving me
Own them with my tesuji

Tsumégo!
Ooooh, you're my best friend
Through the dans I will ascend

Tsumégo!
Gotta solve 'em all
The answer's 1-2
More reading will pull me through

You teach me and I'll teach them
Tsumégo!
Gotta solve 'em all
Gotta solve 'em all
Tsumégo!

In 2004 one of the most active users in the german-go-board named ferdi posted a lot of poetry, including this one:

Die alten Meister wissen:
zuzeiten spielt man gut,
zuzeiten echt beschissen.

The ancient masters know:
At times thou playest well,
At times you suck like hell.

@Ara

omg i noticed the correct melody while reading the first line, guess that makes me a real nerd :/

That's only the first edition. They have 493 tsumego now! But you have to buy two copies of the book to get them all - if you only buy one book, you'll be missing about 20 tsumego unique to the other otherwise-identical book.

A little syntax error (wrong word):
