Coming from the game of Chess which is very sharp and unforgiving, I love how in GO you can get ahead, fall behind, get ahead again and fall back again all to come back and win it on the last move. My opponent lost because he failed to notice that we were playing by area scoring and therefore passed with one dame left. Comments and suggestions are most welcome. The more critical the better!

It wouldn't occur to me to solidify Black's territory in this way. When you start pushing, usually one side benefits, and here it isn't White. Asking for trouble. How about at P16, then if Black defends, at N15 for a kind of net? is bad shape, calling for N14 immediately. is too late to work. White 186: aargh!. But you get lucky. |
