5th Round game 4.

Inje Haneul Naelin > Seogwipo Chilsimni 3:0,

Lee Youngjoo 1p-Kim Miri 3p W+R
Park Taehee 1p-Moon Dowon 3p B+R
Oh Yujin 2p-Oh Jeonga 2p W+R

-This win confirms three teams at the top of the table; Inje Haneul Nalin, Pohang POSCSO Chemtech, Seoul Bukwang Takseu; Just edging ahead, Seoul Bukwang Takseu, interestingly, only two indivual wins (12) above Inje Haneul Nalin and Pohang POSCO Chemtech (10). Only Seoul Bukwang Takseu from thesr three teams has suffered a shutout defeat.
-Inje Haneul Nalin are the reigning champions, the team leader said that they feel less pressure, but still want to be sure of a strong and stable team power to look forward to.
-The top 5 scoring players are all in one of the top 3 teams.

6th Round game 1.

Seoul Bukwang Takseu > Pohang, POSCO Chemtech 3:0,
Choi Jeong 6p-Kim Cheayoung 2p W+0.5,
Kim Sinyoung 1p-Cho Hyeyeon 9p B+R,
Yu Zhiying 5p-Wang Chenxing 5p W+3.5,

-With this win, Seoul Bukwang Takseu consolidate their lead by defeating one of their closest competitors 3:0. Inje Haneul Nalin would have to shutout the team that shutout Seoul Bukwang Takseu (SG Golf) to maintain the same difference in score.
- As Yu Zhiying returns, Seoul Bukwang Takseu complete their "Triangle Formation" that has apparently become impossible to defeat. Mok Jinseok possibly gives an explanation.
-Despite having excellent results so far, Seoul Bukwang Takseu team leader Gwon Hyojin made a statement suggesting that there is no intention of letting up or complacency, the aim is to continue to produce these results.

6th Round game 2.

Inje Haneul Naelin > SG Golf 2:1,
Oh Yujin 2p-Rui Naiwei 9p B+R
Park Taehee 1p-Park Jieun 9p B+R,
Fujisawa Rina 3p-Kang Dajeong 1p

-Mok Jinseok (the "J" in Jinseok represents the same letter as "Ch" in Cho Hyeyeon) seems to state that both Inje Haneul Nalin and Seoul Bukwang Takseu have strength within their teams, but the result of each individual win seems to have a great effect on the mood and overall outcome of the match (I'm unsure of the translation).
“인제 하늘내린이 확실히 저력이 있습니다. 부광탁스처럼 강렬한 맛은 없지만 팀이 꼭 1승이 필요할 때 선수들이 번갈아 그것을 해주고 있어요. 역시 지난해 우승팀답습니다.”
-Oh Yujin was the MVP (Most Valuable Player) of last year's season, (14 wins and 3 losses), scoring a total of 19 wins and 4 losses so far.
-Xie Yimin, of Gyeonggi Lakeside Construction, was present in the analysis room (situation room?) of Inje. She plays in Gyeonggi Lakeside Construction's match the next day (today).

In the 7th round Rui Naiwei 9p beat Kim Yoonyoung 4p with a wonderful display of light flexible play (game is on wbaduk). She might be in her 50s now, but she's still got the moves.

Impressive!

Fujisawa Rina seems to be in good form to, I just saw on Tygem that she won against Choi Jeong 6p.

6th Round game 3.

Gyeonggi Lakeside Construction > Yeosu Geobugseon 2:1,

Xie Yimin 6p-Paek Jihee 2p B+R
Kim Yoonyoung 4p-Kim Dayoung 1p B+3.5
Park Jiyeon 4p-Lee Sula 4p B+R

-Yeosu Geobugseon are stuck in a 5 game losing streak after winning on the first day. Gyeonggi were in similarly precarious conditions not long ago, and as both teams are at the bottom of the table the result of this match is important.
-Park Jiyeon's score is identical to her team's. Apparently, she was behind in the beginning against Lee Sula but caght up until the point where Lee 4p made some big mistakes. I am unsure of the translation of this text...
“차이가 좁혀지면서 이슬아 선수가 당황했는지 실수가 많아졌습니다. 미세했었는데 어느 시점 이후 포기했는지 차이가 좀 벌어졌습니다.” 박정상 9단 (Park Junsang 9p).
-Xie Yimin; "I am very pleased to win. Since last year, I've been watching (the League) and there's no such team competition format in Japan. I personally want to play as much as possible, as it's opportunity to study".

6th Round game 4.
Buan Gomso Salt > Seogwipo Chilsimni 2:1,
Kim Hyeoimin 7p-Park Sohyun 3p B+6.5
Kim Hyelim 2p-Oh Jeonga 2p B+R
Lee Yujin 1p-Kim Miri 3p B+R

-The top teams are pushing nearly all the others into negative results. 5 wins one loss at the top of the table, Seoul Bukwang Takseu and Inje Haneul Nalin, with Pohang, POSCO Chemtech at 4 wins. Buam Gomso Salt were fighting for fifth place in the table and achieved it by winning this match. All fifth, sixth and seventh place teams (joint fifth) Buam, Seogwipo, Gyeonggi), have 2 wins, 4 losses, 7 individual wins!
-Both Team directors (Ha Hojeung, Kim Hojeung,) anticipate better score results in the second half of the season (starting from round 8) were teams play each other a second time.
-If Sweogwipo had won, they would had the same score as SG Golf (fourth) with one or two less wins. The top four teams from the double League have a shot at the title, so the top 4, as much as possible, is the zone a team would want to be in at least.

7th Round game 1. Final of first half of season.
All march 29th.

Pohang, POSCO Chemtech > Seogwipo Chilsimni 2:1,
Kim Eunseon 4p-Kim Miri 3p W+R
Kim Cheayoung 2p-Oh Jeonga 2p W+R
Wang Chenxing 5-Moon Dowon 3p B+R

game 2

Inje Haneul Nalin > Seoul Bukwang Takseu 3:0,
Fujisawa Rina 3p-Choi Jeong 6p W+R
Oh Yujin 2p-Yu Zhiying 5p B+4.5
Park Taehee 1p-Kim Sinyoung 1p W+R

game 3
SG Golf > Gyeonggi Lakeside Construction 2:1,
Rui Naiwei 9p-Kim Yoonyoung 4p W+R
Song Hyeryung 1p-Kwon Juri 1p B+R
Park Jieun 9p-Park Jiyeon 4p B+3.5

game 4
Buan Gomso Salt > Yeosu Geobugseon 2:1,
Kim Hyelim 2p-Lee Minjin 7p W+R
Lee Yujin 1p-Kim Dayoung 1p W+R
Kim Hyeoimin 7p-Paek Jihee 2p W+R

Sometimes, an integrated round of all the teams is conducted instead. A crucial result as Defending Champions Inje Haneul Nalin go head-to-head with outstanding leaders Seoul Bukwang Takseu-- and win.
Bukwang Takseu collapse again, including Fujisawa Rina 3p defeating Choi Jeong 6p. Now their head to head record stands at two-two, with Choi winning the first two encounters, and Fujisawa winning the last two.

Interestingly, Bukwang Takseu and Haneul Nalin have same number of individual wins after this match (15) despite Inje soley leading the running with six match wins to Seoul's 5.
Pohang, POSCO Chemtech continue to stay clearly in title running by winning another match.

PS: Sorry for the long delay after a cold,-- the 8th round will come soon.
