Semifinal Game 1: Xie Ke beat Ichiriki Ryo Shin Jinseo beat Zhao Chenyu Both games were similar in the sense that both losing players started out well and were up big at one point (Zhao even more so than Ichiriki), but both were short on time, and the unique Ing Cup rule of penalizing/trading points for time tilted the games back in Xie and Shin's favor. |

Both Shin and Xie won Game 2 to advance to the final. Xie is also promoted to 9p with his second final in major international tournaments, both coming this month. |
