While looking at professional games currently I came up with a idea that makes looking at them more intresting and motivates me to think myself instead of beeing just amazed by their moves. It is like a minigame while studying the kifu:

1) Do the first 20 moves like normally.
2) From the 21st move on, make a guess for every move. Depending on how close your guess was you get points. For the correct move you get 3 points, and one point less for every layer around your guess:

[go]$$W If the game move is at a, you get points if your move is at:\na - Your guess: 3 points\nb - Close call: 2 points\nc - Correct area: 1 point
$$ . . . . . . .
$$ . . . . . . .
$$ . c c c c c .
$$ . c b b b c .
$$ . c b a b c .
$$ . c b b b c .
$$ . c c c c c .
$$ . . . . . . .
$$ . . . . . . .[/go]

3) At the end of the game add all your games together for your total score. Now, if you divide your points by the total number of moves - 20 (because you didn't guess at the first 20 moves) you get your final score which should be somewhere between 0 and 3.

I found that with system I'm thinking much more if I review a kifu and I'm quite happy if I even get the correct timing on tennukis and hit the correct area :) Maybe there should be an extra bonus multiplicator if a move is a certain distance away from the last move because those are obviously harder to predict.

Did anyone of you do something similiar before? What do you think about it?

Challenge for everyone:
Quarterfinal of the 20th Samsung Cup - Shi Yue vs. Kim Dongho:

My total score: 315
My final score: 1,769662921348315 (315/178)

What are your scores? I think this game is relatively simple because there is a lot of local fighting with moves on can at least guess the area.
