I would like to know where one can obtain game collections of Hon'inbo Dosaku and Hon'inbo Doteki. I know that on amazon.com there is this: http://www.amazon.com/Game-Record-Dosaku-HoninBo-Japanese-ebook/dp/B00PPH8WM6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1433908811&sr=8-1&keywords=Honinbo+dosaku

...but since I lack a Kindle device, I will have to settle for either PDF or physical book. Much obliged in advance.

According to this http://senseis.xmp.net/?HoninboDosakuCo ... Collection, there ought to be a chinese game collection of Dosaku (on Amazon China: http://www.amazon.cn/%E6%9C%AC%E5%9B%A0 ... 8%E9%9B%86). But I don't know anything more than this.

As far as Doteki is concerned: I know only of 23 games of him. Not really a collection.

I guess the cheapest way would be to buy GoGoD, my version from 2012 has over 150 games from Dosaku and 23 of Doteki. It's quite easy to make your own games collection from these sgfs.

What's the new website for GoGoD by the way? GoGoD.co.uk does not work anymore.

The new URL is:

http://gogodonline.co.uk/

or I think you can buy GoGoD through SmartGo books.

You can also get the gogod collection through smartgo which is useful. Smartgo can export diagrams to pdf.

There is a free Kindle app from Amazon.com that allows you to read Kindle format books on your computer.

I just had a look at this book and it is some kind of photo copy of a rather old collection of games. I think it would be very difficult to read efficiently because the moves in the diagrams are labelled with the Japanese numerals. Furthermore there were no comments. Unless you are something of a Japanese and Go scholar you won't know the names of the opponents, the dates, and the venue of the games. For practical study you would be much better off buying GoGoD; you will get more games and information about them.
