Tournament directors rejoice, for a new pairing program appeared.

It's not totally clear to me if it is considered as genuinely brand new, or if it is better described as a new version of OpenGotha. Anyway, something to try out. It continues the much loved tradition of McMahon / MacMahon confusion.

That could be nothing more than an honest mistake. If you find a "wallist" then it is much loved tradition for certain.

I don't remember if M'Mahon was wrong from day 1 or not. Maybe when bored I will check the British Go Journal archive to find out.

edit ... got bored https://britgo.org/files/bgj/bgj027.pdf is the first written instance of the mistake I can see. Perhaps we can blame Matthew Macfadyen for subliminal thought crime

The program is similar to OpenGotha, but easier to use, and the font is bigger: that's appreciated if you are over 50.
