Are there freestyle go tournaments? A freestyle tournament is where moves are made by either humans, computers or humans consulting computers. I think at some point the computer will be so much stronger that the human contribution will be insignificant. The human will be a distraction for the computer. The computer without the human will not have this distraction, look deeper, produce better moves and win the game. Have we reached this point? Are there any freestyle tournaments to test this theory? |
