• Black gives 3.25 stones as komi. If White passes first, Black gives an additional 0.5 point komi.
2. Being 20 minutes late for any round will result in a forfeit of that round.
• Accumulating 2 or more forfeits will be considered a withdrawal from the competition, and all prize money will be automatically forfeited.
3. A match ends when one player concedes or when both players consecutively pass.
• All match results and rulings generated by the competition platform must be confirmed by the chief referee to be valid.
4. Preliminary Round:
• Each player will have 30 minutes of basic time, followed by 5 periods of 30-second byo-yomi. Exceeding the time limit results in a loss.
• The preliminary round will follow a Swiss-style point-based system, with the top 4 advancing to the finals.
• Rankings will be determined in the following order:
1. Each team’s total points (higher points rank higher).
2. The total points of each team’s opponents (higher total points rank higher).
3. Head-to-head results (only applicable if there are 2 tied teams).
4. Remaining points of opponents in order from the first round (higher remaining points rank higher).
5. If still tied, a playoff will be held for advancing or ranking positions.
5. Final Round:
• Each player will have 60 minutes of basic time, followed by 5 periods of 30-second byo-yomi. Exceeding the time limit results in a loss.
• The semifinals will be best of 3 matches, and the championship match will be best of 5 matches. The 3rd place match will be decided by a single game.
6. Players must use the official GTP connector provided by the organizer for making moves.
• Communication delays and reconnection time due to disconnections will be counted as part of the match time. If connection issues occur during use, the participant is responsible (see the GTP connector usage appendix for details).
7. In the finals, each player will have 2 opportunities per game to handle malfunctions.
• The onsite operator must formally apply to the referee for handling. Handling time is limited to 10 minutes and is not included in the match time.
• The referee has the right to inquire about the details of the malfunction. If a player has 3 malfunctions in a single game, they will lose the game.
8. The final matchups will be arranged based on the preliminary round rankings.
• Semifinal matchups: Preliminary 1st place vs. Preliminary 4th place, Preliminary 2nd place vs. Preliminary 3rd place.
• Semifinal winners will compete for the championship, and losers will compete for 3rd place.
