Ok, thank you. I've been waiting for 5-6 days now, and patience is not my most fitting descriptor when I have decided to make a purchase. I'll find somewhere else if they don't respond, I suppose. :pEdLee wrote:Fairly quickly. I have made multiple purchases over the years with Mr. Kuroki,Soverain wrote:Ok, thank you. I've been waiting for 5-6 days now, and patience is not my most fitting descriptor when I have decided to make a purchase.

and I never had to wait 5-6 days for his reply. It was always quite prompt.
(He did have to rely on a human translator for non-Japanese emails,
and after the tsunami disaster there were naturally some difficulty and delays.)
I've had very good experience with Mr. Kuroki and their products.
In fact, their slate and shell stones and Go bowls are among the highest quality
from my experience.

Nice prices on some of the items, too, so I was hoping to buy. Still haven't heard anything, though.EdLee wrote:I have made multiple purchases over the years with Mr. Kuroki,Soverain wrote:Ok, thank you. I suggest you wait and then simply write again.Soverain wrote: Ok, thank you. I've been waiting for 5-6 days now, and patience is not my most fitting descriptor when I have decided to make a purchase. I'll find somewhere else if they don't respond, I suppose. :p
But be nice.
You will not find better prices on this quality of go equipment anywhere. And when it arrives, you will be among the few who have acquired such cool stuff from such a cool source.

You aren't likely to get a response from anyone in Japan until earliest May 7th. Your inquiry coincides with Golden week, a 7 day set of national holidays where nearly everyone travels and business waits until the holiday is over.
Ko is the best solution.

That may explain a lot, thank you. I had seen a lot of red days on their "business days" calendar, so I figured I'd wait until the end of next week.
