Does anyone know the type of the stones they use on the live tournaments of BadukTV? They seem pretty amazing, if somebody knows how to get them, please share.

An example:

According to GoGameGuru, they are size 36 glass stones.

Strange, I've seen those stones in real life and they don't seem to be the same as those in the video, mostly due to the brightness they have in the video, maybe it's due to the studio lights.

Lighting can make a big difference, but I could also be wrong. :-)

Hi psygo,

The thickness looks similar to that used by the NHK tourneys.

Around sizes 36~38, probably; hard to tell from a distance,
especially from the directly overhead view.

From my experience, korean stones usually are more compact or tinier than the japanese (which I personnaly find cute :)).

But, anyway, it's good to know glass stones can look that good.
