I believe they are 8-8.8mm stones. I got them from YMI 10 years ago so I can't remember much. All are in good condition, as I rarely use them. Image

Didn't realize they made double convex with yunzi; shapewise, they appear much more uniform than (lower-end) Japanese or Korean double convex glass stones. 8 - 8.8mm seems very reasonable estimates, based on the photo.

Yunzi stones are in high demand these days since the supply to the States has (maybe temporarily) dried up. I did not see a price? I will crosspost a link to reddit but you should have a price firmly in mind.

Together with the 1.6 shin kaya board from YMI (in your other thread) that would make a splendid set, I think.
I have exact set of double convex yunzi stones: very nice to play with!

I hope these two guys can hook up and do a deal.

Just to add needlessly to the discussion, when I played my first go games, back in 1974, Rod’s set was from Ishi Press and included some nice Japanese glass stones. He told me they emulated shell/slate set (which I didn’t see until 1996), glossy white and matte black. Yunzi stones are all matte, which I find weird. But, heck, there are not enough ways to enjoy go in real life so build a set from eBay and other sources, find folks to play go with, and have fun as your skills advance.
