Same for me: Playing a stone makes no sound. I appreciate this chrome extension very much, it's a great jgs client! A pitty, that such bugs are not fixed.

Remember when CGoban had no sound because of a new Java version? How long did it take until it got fixed? Felt like forever ...

Are there some technical problems with repairing it?
And also: am I the only one really missing it?

I'm sorry this is taking so long. I'll try to release fixed version this weekend.

Upd: Check out the new version 1.5.11, everything should be ok now.

Is it by design, that I do not get stone sound when I watch games, only when I play games myself?

Currently, yes. In general, i can add such option for watching games too.

Just played my first game with GoUniverse after stone sound is back and lost it on time.
I was trying to click my move, but it was just not accepting the click. Tried to click for around 5 seconds, but it would just show the shadow of my stone and not place it.
I remember that I once had this problem with GoUniverse in the past and at that time I restarted Chrome.
Did anyone experience that also?
It might just be a KGS lag issue, not sure ...

To be sure if is it KGS lag or not, next time try to request anyone info or try to write something in the chat. If everything is ok, but you still can't place a stone, then try to close the gameroom with your match and reconnect to it. Also press F12 and if you will see any errors in the log pm me here or on github (in any case if something is going wrong press f12 and check for errors). Thanks in advance.

I've played a few quick games with bots with the new version of GoU and everything was fine.
