There's a very serious bug in the Android client. I don't know whether it affects anyone or just me. Sometimes, a stone is simply missing from the board. If you move the cursor over the intersection where the stone should be, the stone will appear again. I haven't figured out a way to reproduce the bug reliably, or when exactly do stones disappear.

I have only seen this in spectated games (I haven't tried using the Android client to play), where I suppose it's not such a big deal. Still it's hard to think of anything more crucial to a go client than showing the board correctly. I just got used to dragging my finger around the screen every time I notice the board seems weird or the players' actions irrational. Sometimes this indeed reveals the missing stone.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I've never seen this behavior while playing or observing games before.
