Black's last move looks like rather odd shape to me. He certainly doesn't want to play at R11 now, and at some point in the future I may be able to, threatening a cut on either side. But not yet.
I feel like my main strategic choice now is what to do with my three stones in the upper right. My first instinct was to invade at R17, but although taking Black's corner away is big, it would probably effectively sacrifice those three stones. Even though they still have some aji, that seems like a lot to give away, especially given my (not totally intentionally) influence-based strategy.
Plan B is to start a big running fight, which is what I should be doing with influence anyway. Generally one of my weaknesses is to recognize when my opponent's stones are weak, and it took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that Black's three stones on the right side are not too strong!
One concern is that Black could end up fencing off the upper side during this fight, but 1) it seems just as likely that I will be the one to get in there first if Black has to spend time looking after his right-side group; 2) even if Black does do that, I still have R17; and 3) if we make side-by-side walls across the top, mine may actually make a good deal of territory in the center.
We'll see what happens, but increasing the variance of results by getting into a fight is probably what I need to do now.
