Joaz Banbeck wrote: I'm about 1D AGA. I looking to play someone 1K or higher. I prefer closed book. Assuming you mean 1K or stronger, I'd be happy to play. I'm officially 3d AGA but might be a bit stronger, so maybe 2 stones? Let me know. Edit: After a series of favorable results, I've decided I'm definitely underranked at 3d AGA. I'd be happy to play at 3 stones, if you're still interested. Closed book is fine. |

In the prveious game, my opponent had to disengage due to health issues, so I'm looking for another game. I'm about 1D AGA. My KGS rating has bounced between 4D and 5K. ( Bill, you gotta work on the rating algorithm ) I'm looking for opponent of 1K or better, closed book. |

Happy playing a second game. I need to spend a bit more time on Go (honest, I do!), so if anyone fancies playing me, any strength, any settings, any anything, just give me a shout |

Hello, I would like to play a Malkovich game. I am kgs 2k, prefer closed book, and will play anyone 6k or stronger. I will play one move a day when I can, but sometimes might have to slow down to 1 move a week. |

Is it still possible to play this game? If possible, I'd like to play an even game as white. I am about Tygem 5~6 dan. |

Hello! Performing at approximately 4k+-2 KGS, I'd be happy to play with anyone of any strength, although I may only post around one move for every 2,3 days sometimes. |

Okay, I've created a post in Malkovich-- pardon me, as I'm still familiarising myself with the format. viewtopic.php?f=37&t=12531&p=196592#p196592 Number 256, I think, the next game should be, Num. 257 |

As new year is approaching I would like to try another Malkovich game. My current EGF rating is 4k. At least part of the recent increase might be caused by my last Malkovich game experience with moyoaji about one year ago, where I started at EGF 6-7k. So far for motivation... . I'm open to any strength / color / handycap combination, so please feel free to reply. BTW merry christmas to all Edit: I will try to play at least one move about every 1-2 days but sometimes there might be breaks about 1-2 weeks due to holidays, business trips etc. |

I've had another idea for a modified Malkovich that I'd like to try. I call it "Solicitation Malkovich". The basic idea is that there are no handicap stones, but the weaker player gets to ask the observers for advice on limited occasions. ( Sort of like 'ask the audience' in 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' ). I'm thinking that the weaker player gets to solicit advice once for every stone difference. That could be some powerful advice, as we routinely have observers in the 5-6 dan range. BTW, such advice would have to be unhidden, so that the weaker player gets one ply of advice. Otherwise, one post of advice could have a dozen or more moves in it. |

In any case(no matter what kind of advise is allowed), it doesnt have to be unhidden, you can trust the avisor to follow the criterions of advise just as well as you trust your opponent not to read your hidden comments |
