I noticed Mark, you mentioned how comebacks are "more the exception than the norm" in square Oust. However I would say in Hex Oust the opposite is the case. In fact the more I look at it, the more Oust seems like one of those games that supports the popular theory that hex tessellated boards are superior to square ones. I have even tried a couple games of Oust on a square board with diagonal connectivity in the iggc sandbox but even that seems to wrap up rather quickly. Anyway Topazg if you really want to see what a remarkably deep game Oust is then I would recommend you sign up at iggamecenter.com (you only need to enter a screen name and a password to get started) and try the Hex hex version. and congratulations Mark for the win. |

Thanks for playing. Hex Oust is more adrenaline charged somehow. You can feel like you're about having a heart attack. Square Oust is not as extreme. |
