I suddenly realize I have no way to prevent white from playing at my hidden move if I try to play on the left. I'll leave it for now in case he tries to patch up left in a weird way (probably not going to, though). I expect capture here, then I'll go back and play C7. At that point white will know what my hidden move is, but I don't think I have much choice.

I think I'm pretty close to hopelessly behind - especially since white still has his hidden move, but I'll play on for a bit.

White will probably discover my hidden move next, but I think after I separate I can get that plus point in sente later and also attack upper left. This means that on board it looks playable. The issue, of course, is that white still has the hidden move XD

I have to separate white if I want to get to play around E10 in sente.

This also could hurt my top side, but fortunately I still have my hidden move, which should help me live if need be.

I considered playing around top left first, but this seems so big (especially because I can later force white to play on the minus point).

That move is a bit surprising to me. Now, he can peep as below and eventually force me to fill the negative space, but my descent at may at least be profitable in exchange.

Game looking less hopeless, but I think I still need to either surround top right comfortably + get a plus point so that the remaining two becomes miai-ish or force a play on at least one of the minus points on the left side to stand a chance.

I feel slightly in trouble, but I think I'll be okay.

I imagine he'll try to defend one, and if he were to guess correctly my hidden move would not have a lot of profit (he could also use his scan). So instead, I'm going to place my stone here:

This seems to avert immediate disaster on the left side. Of course, white might have played something that would cut at either E6 or F4, but then I think top left corner is more urgent. My guess as to the hidden move is that it's something that tries to capture C6, and this move saves the stones regardless. I think white probably played a cut around E6, but I don't want to play that and then find out that white connected underneath. This way if white did play E6 white will still need a move to connect after I live locally.

It is also possible that white played somewhere else entirely, but then my group will be in no danger. What I'm a bit afraid of, though, is that if white responds at B8 I can't risk getting cut and will have to connect at E6, leaving white sente (because my previous move at the plus point is not sente to kill the corner as far as I can see). I will probably try to scan next move if I can get a better guess from the information white reveals from his response.
