In the latter part of 2010, over three separate updates, we installed dozens of new features and extra options to make GoClubsOnline easier to use for club organizers and volunteers with a Club Account. Most are expressively aimed at helping with managing tournaments and managing club memberships.

Of the recent updates, the most significant are:

New Dashboard
In the spirit of "if you don't measure it you can't manage it", we have created a new Dashboard section, adding tables and charts so that club organizers can follow statistics and review historical trends of club membership, tournament attendance levels (kyu, dan, youth, adult) and tournament finances (including income and expenses).

More Membership Card Options
There are 25 new Membership Card backgrounds for a total of 30 to choose from, in addition to the theme based backgrounds.

More Prize Certificate Options
There are 47 new border patterns for Prize Certificates making a total of 60 to choose from.

More Themes
There are 9 new Themes for club and tournament pages making a total of 18. Themes fall into three categories: Ecology, Seasons and Go-related.

Choice of Stationary
Club volunteers can now choose between A4 (ISO) paper or US Letter sizes for the various stationary options: Membership Cards, Prize Certificates and Mailing Labels.

Tournament Publish
Tournament organizers now have to mark a tournament as Published before it will show to site visitors. Online tournament planning remains hidden from players until organizers are ready.

Tournament Cancellation
In the unlikely event tournament organizers have a problem with their tournament, they can now Cancel a tournament so that players can see their registration while organizers email registrants about the steps being taking and process reimbursements if needed.

Tournament Late/Onsite Registration Fees
Tournament organizers now have the option to charge additional monies for tournament registrations that are late (past the on-line registration period) or when registering at the door.

EGF/AGA Options
Some displays can get rather complicated so we have added the option to display either AGA credentials or EGF credentials. EGF PIN numbers can now be included on Membership Cards.

GoClubsOnline has over 300 subscribers waiting to register online for go tournaments!

Along with all the existing benefits of being able to export on-line registered attendee lists to Pairings Program in GoClubsOnline, clubs can enjoy these new and exciting features by logging in and applying for a Club Account (see 'My Club Account Applications' on the welcome page).
