Problem 5: I managed to play a good opening as black against a 5d opponent (Winrate black: 65%). But I also managed to blunder big time with the next move: What is your next move? Solution: |

Just intuitively without checkin any reading or counting (so using my "blitz" eyes so to speak) I'd play a or b - probably A with the idea that I'll settle my weak group while harrassing white's only potential on the board then I'll get to go back and build while attacking his three stones |

a is my ten-seconds-of-thinking move as well, isolating White's three stones in the middle and potentially helping out an invasion on the left side. I think it might even protect against the cut at D14, though when I initially looked I was content to give those two stones away if they got cut. Edit: no, it doesn't protect the cut. I'm still fine with giving away those two stones for a new string of stones on the 13th line. |

Problem 6: I blundered and instantly knew my reaction to this black play was wrong. What is your intuiton for white's next move? Solution: |

Problem 7: White to play. Think twice, the next move could be decisive: |

Connect below, black can escape with the 2 stones but you get a nice squeeze and give a good chase northwards, and the black lower left corner isn't alive yet which could come in handy for the white group on the lower side which is also not alive (so e.g. surrounding corner could be sente plus safety for that group). So probably black shouldn't escape. Cut on lower side later as a probe, I think black can block left and double hane but the aji is bad. |
