To those who have attended both the US Go Congress and the European Go Congress, how do they compare?

Having over 1000 people, my feeling is that the European Go Congress would have a less... homey feeling, but I've only attended the US Go Congress.

To those who have attended both, how do they compare?

Different priorities in life: 1 v. 2 weeks.

Different amounts of vacation time.

(That said, although the US Congress was awesome, at the end of one week I was ready to do some other things...)

a lot of players at EGC stay only one week, dont have stats but i think its the same for the 1000 players.
