Hello all. It seems everyone's games are going well. :rambo:
I've decided to withdraw from the tournament (sorry Group D). I am heading overseas shortly and won't be able to complete my games for awhile.

I'm looking forward to see who will become the champ. Good luck to all.

For scoring purposes, this should be Tofu +13. You missed a dead stone! ;)

Also, keep up the fun games. I may not be participating, but enjoying seeing the results. :)

Just because I'm curious. What should be the verdict: Tofu +10 or Tofu +13?
I guess Tofu +10 because that is the score both players agreed on.

I didn't see it during the count, and wouldn't have had it not been pointed out (although I appreciate that it was pointed out). As far as I'm concerned I won by 10, not 13...but whatever the organizers decide is fine.

Me and Oren attached. It's says I win by 23 but I've just realised that I had 7 komi despite the 2 handis, so actually it's me +16.

I was wondering the same thing. On OGS, he hasn't been seen online for 16 days...

Does anyone know him off-board?

He seemed to be continually referring to how busy he was and indicating that he needed to cut back on Go/the boards for awhile. Maybe he decided cold-turkey was the ticket.

Some personal/real life issues came up suddenly for him, and he temporarily has had to set aside the forum and go in general to focus on those things, and life in general. He is okay, and would appreciate your concern. I have not really asked him what he would like to have done about various games/tournaments he was involved in, as I do not want to stress him when he has so much on his plate. Feel free to take what measures you feel appropriate in the meantime.

...wow, I use commas too much.

I hope that's nothing too bad, but your way of expressing things let me believe the contrary... Good luck to him :)

Take your time. There's life IN 19x19, and then there is ALL the rest. Maintain that balance!

Balance? What is this mysterious doctrine of which you speak?

It is one of those abstract concepts that Robert was trying to quantify last week. However, in this case all us hitchhikers already know that the correct numerical value is 42.

Ok, that's all updated. 12 games left to play in the first round still - presumably it's worth waiting for people to play them?

Stable and oren played their game on May 30. There have been no updates since then. Perhaps a roll call of people with games yet to be played? It would be great if everyone could confirm whether they are still in and, if possible, take this opportunity to reopen communication with their remaining opponents.
Group A: phillip1882 and Mnemonic?
Group B: stable, kirby, oren, Jordus, and S1NK? (that's right - everyone :D )
Group C: all done
Group D: mw42, entropi, Cyclops, and hailthorn011?

Need to PM Entropi to check, but it appears he withdrew in the wrong thread (check the sticky for the last tournament. may 24th, he posted withdrawing..)

Otherwise, I haven't seen from anyone. I say group C gets a special prize for actually finishing on time, even if Luciano did have to quit.

Of course, I may be a bit biased.
