No, actually, elementary school and middle school were terrible for me. I was sort of an outcast in school because of how shy and quiet in real life I am. I was definitely bullied. I had some stress about the opposite sex, but I didn't let it keep me awake at night.CnP wrote:sounds like you had a nice time at school - no bullying, no stress about the opposite sex, plenty of pocket money for fashionable clothes, good for you. This isn't the case for everyone - worst time of my life so far.If the worst thing I had to worry about was a math test, my life would be a lot better.
as for complications I guess it's all relative. Maybe I'm just better at dealing with all that stuff now (or maybe my wife does it for me)
I went through my whole first year of middle school with brilliantly bloodshot eyes. Like scarlet red. I'd had eye surgery the summer before to strengthen my right eye which was weakened by a fall down a flight of stairs when I was one year old (had surgery when I was a kid, but it failed). Not a lot of middle school kids can understand something like that, though.
So yeah, school life was a royal pain in the butt for me. However, I would gladly take that over having debt (which doesn't sound like a lot until you factor in me being unemployed) and not knowing what tomorrow will bring. At least while you're in public school you KNOW what you're going to be doing each week.
That's just my experience, though.
