Falstaff is a cutie. Here's Zelda, breaking in yet another go board acquisition...a folding 'vintage' kaya board I got to go with my vintage glass go stones and bowls. Zelda could stand to be put on a diet, too, but I have two cats...Zelda would just hog all the food. Attachment: kaya_catboard.jpg [ 98.39 KiB | Viewed 25599 times ] |

In my office I have a cabinet of shipping supplies. Attachment: Storage cabinet small.jpg [ 301.78 KiB | Viewed 25529 times ] I think he's waiting until he sees a box addressed to the land where mice are slow, and he's going to stow away in it. |

Falstaff has cheekbones! As he continues to lose weight, more anatomical discoveries are being made. He is now down to 17 pounds. Someday, I hope to find out if he has ribs. Attachment: golden eyes small.JPG [ 66.22 KiB | Viewed 25487 times ] |

Here is Falstaff, showing off the barrel chest and lush fur typical of British shorthairs. Attachment: Barrel chest small.JPG [ 97.79 KiB | Viewed 25395 times ] He is now down to 15 pounds. That is almost 4 pounds lost since we adopted him early this year. ( BTW, readers may wonder why I note his weight repeatedly. Another characteristic of the breed is hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which greatly increases their susceptibility to heart attacks. So I am not going to let him stay overweight. ) |

Oh, then I guess my cat is also a Brit! Weird, since he doesn't seem to answer to commands in English (and barely Spanish or Catalan, so it won't make much difference) |

Well, it was an assumption given description, shape and pose. I don't have any current picture of him "sitting" and he somehow identifies tools that take pictures and avoids them... I'll try to catch him unaware tomorrow |

This is Griffin, wishing a Merry Christmas to everyone on L19. Attachment: Xmas cat small cropped.JPG [ 119.07 KiB | Viewed 25347 times ] He likes Christmas. When he hears people singing "...Oh, come let us adore him...", he thinks that they are singing about him. |

Post subject: | meet George |
Hi, Meet George. In the picture, he had just moved to our house, he's only 3 months old here. Exploring our garden, smelling exciting stuff, developing his hunting skills. George was named after George Clooney, by my wife of course, because he is such a charming, handsome grey haired male. And yes, he is a bit smallish as well (he still is, at 3 years now). Before you ask: no, no pedigree, just a regular cat. Sorry, wrong thread. Wanted to post it in Cat pics. Admin can help me out? [admin] Sure. Anything for a another cat owner. Done. -JB [/admin] TY admin Also, edited to include not such a massive picture (hope this is better) sybob |

That's not George. It's Freddie! At least it looks just like our Freddie, who died 4 years ago at age 22. |

Here in California we have the first cold snap of the year ( 50's ) and we have a first among our pets. They have been house-mates for a year and a half. The first few months one lived upstairs and one lived downstairs. They have slowly, grudgingly learned to share. This is the first time that they have been sleeping together. |
