 I wonder if they'll do an issue 3 this year or if they decided to 86 the whole project.

Sadly, that Web site seems to have been taken over by some laser hair removal business … so did mjbadukstudies go out of business?

[a minute later] Never mind, I’m asking on their FB page.

Thanks, gentlemen, what a find. I don't know how I missed the original thread. Apparently only two issues ever published, bummer, both available on WayBack. There is no advertising so the editorial and printing efforts were funded by the school described in the masthead: Myongji University, Natural Science Campus, College of Arts and Physical Education, Department of Baduk Studies, Myongji-ro, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea.

Someone with a lot of time on their hands (and access to an excellent Korean translator or app) could hunt down some of the names listed in the two issues. Might be interesting to discover what happened to the staff and the many aspiring players profiled in the beautifully photographed and illustrated articles.

Here is the WayBack URL of the first issue:

Scan it and post the images? I don’t think the publishers would care since the project died.

I don't even have to scan it :) The copy I have is the pdf that was available for free on the magazine's website, which makes sharing it ok, I guess.
here is a link to the file: https://gofile.io/?c=xZMSUp

Awesome, thanks! So, we're sure there were only THREE issues before they pulled the plug?

seems so … this video from 2018-12-11, showing the 3rd issue, is the last post on their FB page.
