Just repeating the
announcement for the Australian Go Player survey, which is closing soon:
https://griffithmhiq.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_baoZPEfjxG7tXYpAllan's original call for responses:
Quote:
As you're likely aware, the AGM of the AGA is going to be held at the Australian Go Congress in September. However, it is quite hard to make intelligent decisions about the perspectives of go players n Australia without knowing what those perspectives are. In order to try to understand that perspective, I have put together a short survey. For most people, it'd take about 5 - 10 minutes.
If you could fill it out, and send the link to any other go players in Australia you might be aware of, that would be amazingly helpful. I'm specifically trying to get as wide a picture of go players in Australia as possible - club player or not. So if you happen to have some way of reaching non-club players, please encourage them to also complete it. If there is anything I can do to help reach a wider audience, please don't hesitate to let me know.
If you want a copy of the data, please do not hesitate to let me know, and I'll happily share it.
Many, many thanks for this!
So, if you're an Australian go player; especially if you don't have much to do with the formal tournament and club scene here because it doesn't hold much value for you, we want to know what you
do want and need. Pass the word.
