Announcement for the Dutch 48th Keizer Karel Go Tournament Nijmegen

Saturday and Sunday, March 16th/17th, 2024

We are organizing the 48th Keizer Karel Go Tournament in Nijmegen.

Format:
5 rounds McMahon. It is possible to participate on either Saturday or Sunday.
Time control is 60 minutes per person. Komi is 6.5. Byo-yomi is 20 seconds or 20 moves in 5 minutes.

Prizes:
Prizes are available for the top 3 players and for all participants who win 4 or 5 games.

Saturday, March 16th

- 10:30-11:30 Registration
- 11:45-14:15 Round 1
- 14:30-17:00 Round 2

Sunday, March 17th

- 09:30-11:45 Round 3
- 12:00-14:15 Round 4
- 14:30-16:45 Round 5
- 16:45 Prize ceremony

All players must be present by 11:30 on Saturday, including those who have pre-registered. Only then can the games begin at 11:45.

Pre-registration:
Pre-registration is possible via phone or email. Registering with a bank transfer is preferred. If by bank transfer, no further registration is required.

Entry fee:
- Standard: €25
- Youth under 25: €20
- Half-price for single-day participation
- Pre-registration: €5 discount (before March 16th)

Lunch will be provided on both days.
