Lol, Whats your rank? a few players from the atlanta go club are coming, and I think some of them might be the High dans. Any who unless your a dan you have a high chance of winning something, 3 dan + play even game nigiri, 2d-1 kyu play weaker as black and stronger take 0.5 komi, 2k-15k play with proper handicap, and 16k-30k play even game with nigiri.

Yeah, I'm mostly just joking. I'm only 1-2 kyu but I played in the Alabama state chess championships a few times back 10-12 years ago.

I do have the proud privilege of being Board 1 for the Alabama High School State Chess Champions in 2001.

Awesome played in quite a few alabama chess tournaments before I started Go. Eddie koen and mike lawson were my coaches when I was in high school.

Hi,

Can I ask, why Montgomery? Do you ever foresee a Go event being held in Huntsville?

The tournament went well. We had about 10 people, and got good reviews of the tournament. We are making a club of about 10-15 people, and I plan on holding another tournament in July.
