White is presumably the 2007 WAGC winner.

Are the moves 118 and 120 swapped? I can't see sense in the sequence as it is.

Thanks a lot for posting these games.

At this point, it seems fairly certain that the Japanese team will be demoted to C-league (if they don't withdraw). They have 2 points after round 6.

Edit:

For more context: There are 7 rounds in total, the top three teams after round 6 have 10, 9, 8 points respectively. The 7 point teams already have no chance to promote as there are only 2 spots for promotion into A-league.

There are three spots for demotion to C-league. The Japanese team will take one as their 2 points is the lowest. The next two lowest are at 3 and 4 points respectively, but they may still have a chance because the results in the last round could affect a lot of things - it's theoretically possible for teams with 6 points to demote.

Results for June 14th B League 7th Round (Final Round)
Japanese lost 1-3
The lone Japanese winner was 一力辽 Ichiriki Ryo
  赵治勋 负 甘思阳
  村川大介 负 安冬旭
  伊田笃史 负 娄洛宁
  一力辽 胜 蒋蔚

Cho Chikun vs Gan Siyan. Guess Cho took too much time to think over an unfamiliar fuseki.

And with the end of the final round. Thus ends my coverage of this event. Hope you all enjoyed it.

That last fuseki reminds me a bit of this:

In the end Murakawa and Ida went 3-4 for the Japan team. Not setting the world on fire, but not terrible. It was the 1-6 results from my man Cho and the young hope Ichiriki that sank them.

Also interesting that Lee Sedol lost his last game after a 6-0 start. As a result his team finished second, although they still qualified for the A league.

Close to zero for the majors. Slightly more likely for NHK or NEC cup where he had some good results last year. He does better in fast games nowadays. But he is already 56 now and won his first title in 1979 (before many current top professionals were even born)...
