General discussions about gobans, etc., go here. If you're selling go equipment, it should go in the Trading Post.

I guess I missed this first time round. If the original poster is still around I have a question.

They do look like nice boards, but as soon as I saw them I noticed that the grain looked to be running the wrong way. It this just the camera angle? The grain should run parallel to the longer side.
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

Thanks for the tip, DrStraw, thats something I did not know! The pine board grain is a little less obvious in its direction, but you are correct that especially the red oak grain doesn't follow the longer lines. Next time I will keep that in mind ;)

I'm actually trying to sell these boards on Etsy so I can start making nicer/more polished ones as I've come up with more efficient methods since I made these. They aren't perfect but they did come out nicer than your typical particle board goban.

Candid feedback is always welcome. :)

Hi dracflamloc,
I do not know if it is of help to you, I will inform some friends and - if you approve - put a link to your Etsy shop on http://www.goishi.nl.

Sure, that's great :) I'm not sure how much it would cost to ship to your location, but if someone is interested I can get a quote for them.
