Hello from Japan

Post by boily »

Hi,

I am a go fan, I have been into go for between 10-20 years and am mediocre player, low dan.

I dont play very much but I really like to watch the pro games.

I dont really improve much anymore but i like to enjoy the game.

I hope that more various styles of go will influence amateur players around the world.

So you can find your own personality in the go.

Welcome. In Japan you may consider low dan mediocre. But here I think most people will consider it quite good.
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

Would appreciate learning more about the GO scene in Japan.
