All the Japanese master equipment makers at one shop...

General discussions about gobans, etc., go here. If you're selling go equipment, it should go in the Trading Post.

All the Japanese master equipment makers at one shop...

Post by by78 »

Found this store on Alibaba's Taobao mall:

It features Go products from only certified Japanese master craftsmen, all in one place. And it ships to the US. For those of you who have been having a hard time finding Japanese equipment online, this Taobao store might just do the trick.

Also the prices are fair, as in not above or below what you'd expect.

If you don't read Chinese, Google translate seems sufficient (which is what I used).

Other Japanese equipment makers have also set up shops on Taobao, and the selection is amazing. I've never seen so many sets of the legendary Hyuga snow-grade stones in my life!

Beautiful works of art (at eye-watering prices) from one of the most highly-regarded Japanese master craftsmen. It seems Kuroki is a tier or two below these these guys, who are actually government certified traditional master artisans.

The photos make all of that equipment look stunning. It's all absolutely beautiful. And, considering the quality, the prices seem decent.

No problem. I was drooling all over my keyboard. Just a superb assortment on Taobao.
