It's already done. Right click in games list and you will see context menu

All games = active games
All challenges = open challenges
Rooms = classic KGS room games
Followers = Fans

You might want to change the name "followers" because it is not really those people who are following you. This is a list of people who you are following. So, it might be better to say, "Followed"

Thanks.

May I suggest ( feature requests ):

Instead of right-click ( difficult for one-mouse-button, or touch screen, one-tap interfaces ),
how about a burger menu:

Also ( suggestions ):

"All games" --> Active Games
"All challenges" --> Open Games ( or: Game Requests )
"Followers" --> Fan Games

My understanding is that 'chrome' for iOS is a different program than chrome on the PC (whether Mac or Windows). We can not install chrome extensions under iOS. However, you can find references on the net to installing Adblock for example. These all seem to require that you jailbreak your device. You can find other references, dating from around 2014, to chrome supporting extensions under iOS, however, these all seem to be articles on chrome supporting iOS extensions. I think there is no joy at the moment. :sad:

Hi Dave,

I thought it'd nice to have HMTL5 and to finally get rid of java ( but javascript :( )
but now it seems like another set of fragmentation issues. :sad:

I was thinking about to show this context menu by left click mouse like in GoPanda2. How is that?

Infinitely better, because currently there's no way to "right-click" on iOS ( that I know of )... :)

First,thanks for your big work.
A question, is this (not yet?) implemented or maybe i just dont find the option: add time to my opponent during the game?

I tried it just a few moments ago and all I can say is:
:bow: THANK. YOU. :bow:
This looks just SO much nicer than the original client! Even my OGA has been awestruck at first and is pushing me to play this very moment even though I gotta go to bed soon. What I want to say: Great job! The client is very easily and quickly installed, it has a very clear design and it runs absolutely smoothly (although the user info window might show up a little quicker, but that's not an important issue at the moment). The different board designs are quite cool (although the classical wood grain board looks best to me) and I LOVE the kifu printing option (will there maybe be an option to make a new diagram for every 50 moves?) There's only one thing I'm missing right now and that is the sound. Is it just me or is it missing?

Oh, and I have one question concerning privacy: In the original client there's an option to hide your email address from other users, in GoUniverse it seems as if it shows the address by default. Is that true? Will you implement this soon? I think this choice made in the original client should be respected or the email shouldn't be visible at all. I surely changed mine already.. ^^;

And another question: I really love to use automatch, more than 90% of my games I play using it. Will you implement that, too..? Or am I blind maybe and it's already there? With automatch this would be the 100% perfect client for me.

I think I'll play my game in the German Bundesliga tomorrow evening via GoUniverse and I'm looking forward to it very much! <3

It will be in the nearest version.

The sound is enable in your own games. I'm working on settings page right now, when it will be done you will be able to turn on/off sounds in other games.

Not it is not. If email is private you won't see it. Moreover, the server doesn't send me an email field in this case. Example:

Automatch will be implemented in the nearest version as well. It will in the "PLAY" menu.

Couple minor issues:
- I played a game, when into scoring, marked dead stones. After both players press done, the dead stone markings disappear.
- When I load a game from my history, the toolbar only has undo, pass, resign. No editing tools.

It would be cool if you would tell me more precisly which games encountered these issues. Players names and date-time will be enough.
Thank you.

I had the dead stones problem in both "yoyoma vs HelloPenta" and "BasicsBot vs yoyoma". I would expect you would see it in any game if you just play a quick game with a bot to the end. Do you not see that?

For demonstration games it happens for any game I load, I tried around 5. Here are my steps: I'm in the English Game Room. Right click my name from the list on the right. Left click Games tab. Right click yoyoma vs HelloPenta. Load in English Game Room (not private). In the toolbar I only see Undo Pass Resign. I'm expecting to see the editing tools like forward/backward etc.

Re: GoUniverse (New KGS client)

Today I played my first game via GoUniverse and it was great - not only because I won ;-P but because the client did beautifully in every aspect. One thing I'm missing a little is the small chat window in the window where you create a game. I wouldn't usually need it, but in the German Bundesliga it has proven to be very handy. My workaround was contacting the opponent via private chat and explaining why I might not answer there and it was ok, but having the window there someday would be nice. :-)

The other thing that I noticed after the game is that playing through a game record is still quite laggy which makes discussing the game a bit less fun. Will there be some changes here later to speed it up?

Oh, and one more thing: I tried to install GoUniverse in Chrome on my tablet and I couldn't - are tables not supported or might the reason be that my tablet is already very old? (although it runs Chrome Version 52.something)

But these are rather minor aspects. GoUniverse is great! :clap: I'm looking forward a lot to using it from now on and to the update that contains automatch.

Thanks for clarifying!

Yes, you're right. I was checking with one of the few people who haven't checked the option and was too excited to check more people.. Sorry. ^^;
