Euro Pro Online League

Post by Ferran »

Okay, this is ridiculous. Sorry.

I haven't been able to follow much of either, but this afternoon I watched part of the European Online Women's Go Championship 2020 on OGS. About 120 people following the game online. Part of it while the first Pro game was on. I had to go and do a couple of things, and both games ended. But there were still pro games pending, so I tried to reach it.

So, go to the Pro league page. Find an old game. Check the username. TYPE that username in the search function for OGS. Find the player. Then click the game.

In contrast, the Women's page has both the nicknames and the Link to their user page. Not even counting that OGS actually warns you about it, but I don't know how that one works.

About 60 watchers. I read in several places, some time ago, that every click you had to go through lost you ... half? 90%? of your viewers / customers. Count them.

Dunno, but a 3 hr game between Ama has 2x the viewers of a game between pros that was supposedly shortened to make them easier to follow. Both are Bo3, at this stage. And the first one had to share eyes.

Take care.

I watch the EGF pro games on twitch not OGS. There's 180 watching now. Chill.
