This post has been adjusted due to past content being outdated.

Important Information:

Rengo (2v2)
Board Size: 19x19
Format: Swiss (2-4 Rounds)
Rules: Japanese
Time: 25 Minutes Main Time, 5x00:30 Byo-yomi
Start time: November 13th, 7:00 PM GMT
Game Room: Honinbo Go League Room (KGS)

All results should be posted in the game room. If a dispute occurs, the TD's decision is final. In the case of a game win/loss being disputed, the TD will look at the game record and see what it was. Undo's are not to be permitted under any circumstances. Also, post who will be playing on a team, and what you would like your team name to be.

Just remember, this is for fun! I'm hoping all who participate can enjoy themselves. Have a nice day!

Note: I'm not used to using GMT, so I used http://www.wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/info/current-time/ to figure it out. If it looks like a weird time setting, please let me know.

Why do people use local time zones so often. You can't expect everybody to know the offset of every timezone. What's wrong with using UTC or GMT?

And EST isn't even a unique time zone identifier. There is EST in the US at UTC-5 and EST in Australia at UTC+10.

Because it's the only time setting available on the website, maybe? Besides, I don't know other time zones well enough to use them. I use the one I'm comfortable and familiar with. So, yeah, I apologize if that upsets you. And when I say EST, I mean USA EST. Guess I should clarify that.

I was interested...until I saw the time. 9:00am EST is 6:00am here in LA. I'm not up at 6:00am most days, and even if I am, I'm not awake enough to play a decent game.

Getting a comfortable time setting for an international game like Go is difficult. I thought 9AM would be decent, but I guess not.
