2nd tournament at Kaya.gs at the 11.2.

The second tournament on Kaya.gs will be at the 11.2.12 and start at 15.00 CET. For reference: CET is GMT+1/UTC+1/CST+7/JST-8

Here are some more informations:

End of Registration: 11.2.12 14.30 CET
Start of the 1.Round: 11.2.12 15.00 CET
Number of Rounds: 5
Board size: 19x19
Time settings: Fischer time with 20 minutes main time + 6 seconds per move.
Handicap: Correct handicap withs ranks at kaya.gs

The rounds should start like this:

1. Round: 15.00 CET
2. Round: 16:20 CET
3. Round: 17:40 CET
4. Round: 19:00 CET
5. Round: 20:20 CET

Fischer is cool. Count me in. I am "sh" on kaya.

This could be a problem. It takes too long to rank up from the intial 30k (currently at 24k).

Normaly you should be able to set our rank in the profile once. Otherwise maybe conanbat can do something for you. But I don't think you have to worry much about this. As far as I can see you get 9 stones form everyone with both ranks

(I'm kinda envious. From such games one can learn the most in my opinion...)

Finally I was able to reset the ranking. Phew. It was kind of tricky though. The "save" button didn't work, but the return key did :salute:

This makes us 6 players and we'll play the 5 rounds for sure. If we keep beeing 6 I promise to make the pairings myself to avoid problems like the last time... Of course I hope we become more players

Heya. I am keenly interested in Kaya.gs and wonder if I should buy in (as a supporter) in order to play this tournament? I'm 12 kyu, though - according to the South African Go Association. According to KGS, I'm about 8 kyu.

If you are intrested in kaya.gs this would be a great time of course :cool:

. Besides if you're already intrested I guess you will become even more intrested in the future when new features are published

And just use the rank you feel more confident with. Maybe you'll be able to play some games before the tournament if you're unsure. I think there will be enough people who will help you.

Because the most player went into the trouble of 6 second blitz we decided to change the time setting to 15 min main and 10secs per move
