Uh how do you access all the extra game files etc (game packs)
someone wanna pm me on this?

You simply run those game packs and the installer will do the rest. You'll have to enable the game packs in the settings though.

Hey I have the same problem with moyo go like MountainGo!
I have done what CarlJung said with the DEP and so on when I installed moyo go it worked but when i restart the computer the "incorrect parameter " appears again.
I also read the manual of the site (The thing with the registry...(not enough storage available)) and made all things they said but it doesnt work. I uninstall moyo go every time I restarted the computer and then turn it in the DEP the Setup2009.exe file off and then on and then the comp says i must restart I do it. After that I install moyo go again and it works. I am very tiered of doing it every time so please help me.

I would also be interested in a solution for Windows 7. Kind of funny, MoyoGo runs better on Linux than Windows.

I just noticed MoyoGo started working for me again after I installed Win7 Service Pack 1.

i have windows 7, and used the fixes suggested in the previous six pages, but still had error messages. the solution was to run moyo go as administrator. works normally now.

I downloaded and installed MoyoGo on a Win7 machine a month ago. The installation worked first time straight out of the box. I haven't had any trouble with it at all. I love it and find it very useful.

I have decided to remove the Moyo Go download because the files took up nearly 1 GB and I needed the space to backup my new project.

Anyone who has downloaded them hereby gets my permission to turn them into a torrent.

Myself, I do not have the files anymore (nor the sources).

Thanks for making Moyo Go Studio freely available, Frank. Its unique and well implemented features make it a valuable study tool. I was sorry to hear that it won't be further developed. Good luck with your next project.

Well, it turns out that Oren is prophetic! Too bad he didn't just decide to make the program open source. That would have been so beneficial to the community. So, has anyone thought of a place to host the files yet?

I feel like this should be on every page of the thread: Moyo Go Studio contains SGF files copied from other databases that were created with substantial effort by longstanding members of the Go community.

The author, Frank, has said that he thinks this is ethically wrong.

He said his actions were legally wrong, though I suspect that's false (I'm no lawyer yada yada yada).

Well Frank no longer has the files on his server and nobody has bothered to post a torrent. I have rarred up all the files and split them into 100M parts with recovery data.

You can find the files at mediafire. I hope Frank gives permission to upload to mediafire. If not, I'll just delete them.
