Just a tip from an outsider who thinks about taking part: If you plan on continuing this and include more features like buying/selling pros and bidding you maybe should do a small webinterface which does most of the bookkeeping for you.

But I'm not sure something like that is really feasible. It 1) requires a lot of bookkeeping, and 2) requires that people pick slowly over a long period of time, so that we can alternate instead of giving some people the advantage of making all their picks first.

If I did make some kind of web form as Celebrir suggested, I could make picks blind, so you don't know who's picked who until after everyone's made their selection. Of course, this might lead to some funny upsets if everyone chooses the underdog to be different :)

I, too, think that a web interface of some sort is the way to go.

There are a lot of interesting possibilities here. Thanks to emeraldemon for running this season! I would like to continue to participate, if this keeps going.

You could do a daily system with a web form. Each day there's a new price list, and everyone can pick one pro at the set prices. The next day, prices are adjusted, and you make a second pick.

Poor Dave would have to drink a few extra ones after doing his spreadsheet.

I have prelims next week (wish me luck!) so I won't be able to do anything for a bit, but after that's done I should be able to whip something up fairly quickly.
