Thanks for posting the game!

I had a short look at the game one hour ago before I had to go to work, I can't tell who might win.. White's group in the upper left was cut off, black below that group was able to connect to the black group above... I don't like that. ;-) But white got a sweet near-territory at the left side and some prey to chase in the middle... So maybe white IS a bit better off?

I agree with wossname that I liked white's position after the first day better. Don't know what happened since one hour ago and I can't look at the actual game now, but I hope it will be exciting so we will have a good game to watch / replay / study. :)

I'm looking forward to study this game and of course to hear the result! :D

EDIT: Just found this live commentary on the game here: http://www.asahi.com/igo/meijin/OSK201009020006.html It is in Japanese but at least one could follow the game through the diagrammes if there is no other way. :D

EDIT 2: Just heard that Iyama Yuta won the game by 6,5 points! :)

I believe they play the second game between the 16th and 17th of September.

The schedule looks like this:
1. 09/01 - 09/02 (Yuta won by 6.5)
2. 09/16 - 09/17
3. 09/22 - 09/23
4. 10/06 - 10/07
5. 10/13 - 10/14
6. 10/28 - 10/29
7. 11/04 - 11/05

The next game starts soon, at 9:00 AM Tokyo Time, or 8PM EST, or you can look up your local time (http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/). It should be broadcast on IGS, and also WBaduk, I think?

I hope Takao Shinji will win next game, because I want to see 7 games between this two masters. It would be pity to see only 4 games.

Hope Takao win.

Well, bad for you, good for yuta-fans. Iyama Yuta wins the third game by resignation. It's now 3-0 for the current title holder, if i'm not mistaken.

Here's the game

The first day of the 4th round is over. Here's the position: http://www.asahi.com/culture/update/100 ... 60473.html.

It seems complicated, and maybe less in Iyama's favor than previous games, but I think I prefer Black.

Nice! After the last match, I decided that while another game would be cool, I'd rather see a clean sweep.

I believe there are seventeen clean sweeps in the two day matches, out of 148 matches.
