As others mentioned, making a sleeve for your board is a solid idea.

Nice! But how do you fit the board through that small opening? What's the trick?

My travel board disassembles into two halves. Each half easily slides into the sleeve. This picture of my 9x9 travel board is probably more on point:

It simply slides into a square sleeve.

I used to have an exact bag like yours, and I lost my board because it fell from the bag, and I could never find it))
