Wow... its funny to see some people who worked for the AGA say the same stuff I have said.

Words like 'unprofessional', when they come up, should be taken seriously.

I actually consider the AGA membership a tax I have to pay to play in Congress. When you lose long term members like Steve Fawthrop who I played in like '93....

Just rambling I guess. I do so want to be helpful in discussions like these, but these discussions are rarely helpful. I suspect MIS people like myself get really steamed at stuff like this.

Really? Then I guess I know you, but I don't have a clue who you are, hiding behind "PGWM"

Well, I wouldn't say we KNOW each other, just saying that I've met you in St Paul/Mpls one year when you were visiting from Rochester. I was there on a convention thingie. I don't quite remember if it was exactly 1993, could have been 94 or 95 ish. We played at the Dunn Brothers Coffee House though. You gave me 5 stones. BTW, I'm not exactly hiding either. You have a nom de plume and so do I. :batman: :D

If you want to know, just ask. :-)

My point was simply that if someone like you had 30 years of history and then decided not to renew then perhaps the membership really is just a tax on Go?

The other side of the coin is that its better to have the congress than not. If they really need the membership money for the Congress then fine... but I suspect that that is not the case.

I for one am not surprised that you left or that the OP left. As he said...there are no PLANS. Just to eke by.....

Shocked to hear you were fired, especially after seemingly doing a good job for so long. I'd offer you a position on our website, but I expect you've got better things to do. :)
